Not sure what to say?

I was on a raft trip down the Colorado River (ca. 1980). I was sitting near the front when we turned a corner, and I was swept off the raft. The water was so powerful, I couldn't even try to fight it, just let it sweep me away. But the raft caught up after a minute or so and they fished me out of the water. There was a doctor on board and he gently checked me out. I thanked him and remarked that he looked so much like Leonard Bernstein. He replied that the conductor was his cousin. I will...

I was a patient and was so ill with my asthma when I meet him at age 25. He tested me and told me I was a mess being allergic to everything out doors. I started injections and In 6 months my daily asthma attacks dropped to one a week! I could finally sleep Thursday the nite!Last time I spoke to him was 17 years ago. I worked for Good Sam in Cincinnati, Oh and called him one one of his accounts for insurance information. We chatted a while telling him his son Jonathan was my doctor. He ask me...

I am so touched by the amount and variety of people that have expressed their condolences for the passing of my Grandfather, I. Leonard Bernstein. I will always have the words of my Grandfather in my mind, to love the Jewish People and Israel. My Grandfather was a man that was dedicated to medicine, and many remember him as such, but not entirely. He was dedicated to his work, but also his family, his people, his identity as a Jew, and his own history. He is sorely missed. May his soul be...

It was with great sadness that I heard (from Evie Barson) of the passing of Leonard. I was so happy to have a chance to (finally) meet Leonard and spend time with him and his family at Evie's daughter, Nicole's wedding. Pictures from that celebration can still be found on my Facebook page.
Leonard was a truly amazing person and he leaves a legacy of love to all who knew him. He will surely be missed.

Thank you very much Dr. B. I will miss you.

My deepest and most sincere sympathies go out to the family of Dr. Bernstein. He was a great man that gave so much to The Mastocytosis Society....a rare disease that I suffer with. He saved many lives. I will be forever great full for his research and time spent helping save the lives of others and his devotion to help find a cure for Mastocytosis. ~ Allie and Jeremy Barnett., Blue Ash, Ohio

I was saddened to hear of Len's death. He and Miriam are featured people in my great memories of the AAAAI. Heartfelt condolences.
