Not sure what to say?

Vale Sqn Ldr (Retd) Ian Brausch, affectionately known to all as "Von B". It is many years since we last got together with you and Barb, but you were always remembered fondly. To Barb, Christopher, Adrian and your extended family, please accept my sincere condolences in your loss. Ian was a highly respected RNZAF aviator and an all round gentleman. Fly high mate.

To Barbara, Chris & Adrian, I found out about Ian's passing last evening and am sending my sympathy to you all at this difficult time. It is many years since I saw Ian, but we had some contact via email about 18 months ago regarding our DNA match on Ancestry.com and some other family info. I remember great-auntie Audrey was always so proud of Ian and his acheivements, as she was of all her family. Love to you all, Lesley Haslip (nee Wenzlick)

Ian I have only great memories from digging a under ground hut in Opotiki, chasing the Taneatua express to get back home. Tying cousin Bobby to a tree at Tapu .Loving the Goon Show, Staying with Auntie Beverly Uncle Don and their Boxer Dog. Me crashing into Doug Muirs Fence at the bottom of the hill when my brakes failed. Trying on each others uniform in Herne Bay. Ian yo will live in my memories for as long as I Live. Love you Cuz even though you joined the Brylcreem Boys

cousin Ian achieved so much during his service in the RNZAF a true veteran - remembered fondly - cousin Shayle.

To Barbara, Christopher & Adrian We send our loving thoughts to you all. John recalls the sorties on the 5 Sqn Orions with " von B" to Hawaii, Singapore, Austalia and the Pacific islands during exercises and search and rescue flights. Ian always had a great sense of humour and was very skilled as a pilot, With our best wishes Annie & John Pryor

Very sad to lose a friend, colleague and proud No 36 Aircrew Course member. It is with fondest memories we recall the fun times our families shared at Wigram and Whenuapai. Our sincere condolences go to Barbara, Christopher and Adrian.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
