Not sure what to say?

Scott,

You were a great friend all those centuries ago at Grissom and I'm glad that I ran into you a couple of years ago for a chance to reminisce...You were as quick witted as ever...and I'm sure you still are somewhere out there......God Bless my Friend...

Aaron -

I'm very sorry for your loss. I didn't know your brother, but a number of my friends evidently did, and just found out today... I had a similar experience with a very dear friend of mine just a year ago, and it's never easy. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected, and wanted you to know I was thinking of you and your family, wished I had known earlier, and will let some of Ian's and my mutual friends know about the Guest Book. Take care.

To the family of Ian Scott Campbell,
I remember Scott (Ian) very well back at Grissom High School during our junior and senior year on the newspaper staff -- The IMPRINT. Scott was a great photographer then and I heard he continued that talent well after Grissom. I saw Scott's obituary in the newspaper last week and saddened to see that he passed away, but seeing his name brought back a lot of fun and good memories of our years at Grissom and our fun on the newspaper staff with Mary...

Diane, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray God grants you the special comfort only He can provide and that each day you'll gain more and more strength to carry on.

I'm very sorry that Ian has gone. It's just too soon. He has an army of friends who cared for him and worried for him right to the very last. And every single one of us will miss him. He had a good heart.

Ian was a blessing to my life and to many, many others. We will truly miss him- his laughter, his smile and that twinkle in his eyes. He was such a genuine friend that, even though you may not see him for quite awhile, you could just pick up where you left off. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends who loved him so much.

My thoughts and prayers are with Diane and the boys and Ian's parents.

I was once told that when someone is taken from us early in their life, it is because God has a special need for them with Him. In this day when there are such horrors in the world, I think God called Ian to help keep His spirits up.
I will forever remember the twinkle in Ian's eyes, his grin, and unlimited enthusiasm. He truly was a gift.

To: Diane and Ian's 5 boys, I find it hard to express the sadness I feel for you and the boys at the loss of Ian. However, I look back on some of the times we were all together and what I remember most is Ian's and your happiness together. You were a complete couple...devoted to one another and your children...blessed to have found one another in an uncertain world...your love and devotion to each other should be an inspiration and example to all the lives you have touched...thank you and may...
