Not sure what to say?

Just heard about Ian's passing from a FB page of Marines that worked together in the same MOS. I served with Ian in Okinawa, Joint Forces Brig at Camp Hansen, I was his NCO and friend. Unfortunately we lost contact after I left the Marines and was always trying to find him on social media, no luck, until now. My condolences to your family. We sure had a lot of fun in Okinawa and I will always remember Ian. A good Marine, man and always had his head screwed on straight. Semper Fidelis Marine

My brother Ian was so great. I miss him every day. It is sad he passed away so young. Im so thankful to have an amazing brother. He is truly missed by our whole family.

Condolences to the family and friends...

Gone too soon. Even though I didn't know you personally, I feel I knew you through your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with your family...rest in peace now.......

I am deeply saddened about the passing of Ian. when I first met Ian I knew he was a very special individual we spent many hours talking about bluegrass music and things of similar interests. He was so intelligent and so easy to get along with how could you not love him. May his soul rest in peace.my condolences go out to his family and loved ones. I truly consider you a friend and will miss you

Oh Ian, one of my best friends in high school!

Ian was a great friend to me when we were young. He taught me about courage and also lightness. I'll never forget his big and booming laugh. I'm sorry that his life was cut short and I hope his daughter will know that her father touched many people positively during his life.

So very sad to hear about this. Ian was always a great friend and partner in crime. I have some amazing memories of the great times we had. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his beautiful daughter. You will be missed. Thank you for making my HS years more bearable and filled with laughter!
