Ian Holm

Apart from being an extremely talented actor, Ian was one of the sheerly nicest people I have ever known. In 1966 to Sept 1968 he and his lovely wife Bee employed my then girlfriend as their nanny, and they were kind enough to come to our wedding in September 1968. He was more of a friend to us and was always genuinely friendly. I live in Cape Town now and missed any reports of his demise. I have watched every one of his movies and bored my new(ish) wife when I always called her to see him.

Sad to hear that Ian Holmes has died. He has touched the hearts of many on screen and in person. May God heal the broken hearts of family and friends.
