Not sure what to say?

Ian always surprised me with his wisdom and ability to see through life´s absurdities. And we were so young at the time. I still laugh at some of the jokes he made from those days.

Many of the things I do in life, continue to remind me how much I miss Ian. I hadn't seen him since we both got on with our lives (overseas) and lost contact. However, I regularly think of him and judge what I do by the qualities I so much admired in him, when we were close friends.

So shocked to hear the sad news that the world is now a much lesser place without Ian in it. We will cherish so many fond memories of good times on Friday evenings in the Five Bells, Chelsfield. Our thoughts are with Ian's family.

Rip Ian
Friends at hadlow

Was so very sorry to hear about Ian, we were friends only briefly at Hadlow College in Kent in the early 90's
Ian was a very popular lad and had a very good nature and a dry sense of humour, we were a close nit group from all over England and got on very well and had some great times and drunk the place dry lol

I am so sorry to hear the incredibly sad news about Ian.

Ian and I were good friends at college and I have fond memories of the adventures and time we spent together. The world will certainly be a much duller place without Ian in it.

I send my condolences to you Meg and your family and also to Sheila, John and Mark.xx

Ian was a close friend of mine for a number of years in London whilst we studied and for a while lived together, up until he moved away. We had fantastic times, whatever we did.
Ian was a role model for me, with his strength of character and chivalry. Above all else, we laughed a great deal together. Ian was a great wit, extremely funny and a big influence on me.

I often recount tales of the great times I have had with Ian. I have been missing Ian for many years, but it deeply...

Meg I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know I am thinking of you & your family.

Meg, I am so sorry to hear about Ian. I just found out today. He was such a great guy. I am so glad that I got to know him. He made the world a better place by just being here. Cherish the good memories.
