Not sure what to say?

I am devastated. I hadn't spoken to Ian in a very long time, but that doesn't mean I don't feel extremely saddened. The fact he had a significant otherindicates he had a good life. I'm very happy to hear this. Your loss is felt in my heart, and by my husband, who remembers him fondly. Please accept my condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of Ian's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

Ian was in tenth grade when I had the pleasure of meeting him. He was one of my daughter's friends. He never forgot me even when he was on the Davis campus and would always stop to ask how Valerie and our family were doing. He even stopped to greet me the day of Valerie's wedding at the church. He had to work so he couldn't go to the reception but made sure to make the wedding Mass. Such a wonderful young man and such a loss. Condolences to his parents, sister and significant other. ...

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Ian. All of my best childhood neighborhood memories have Ian & Miranda in them. He was such an amazing & wonderful person... I am glad I had the opportunity to live across the street and grow up alongside him. To this day, whenever I hear or see Dr. Who, I think of Ian as it was one of his favorite shows growing up. To the Lackie family & friends: please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

So sad . So young . My condolences
