Not sure what to say?

Ian,

You were one of my best friends as a kid, playing kickball on the playground at Spring Hill and hanging out. We met up again in High School but went different paths, and I am very upset to learn you had passed. I'll always cherish the memories of a happier more innocent time we got to share together.

Steve--I found out today about Ian and I am so saddened! You know all of the scripture and encouraging words better than most, so I will just tell you I love you and cherish all of the memories shared with you, Susie, April and Amy. Blessings, my friend!

Steve,

I recently heard about Susie and Ian. I can't imagine your pain. If only all of your dear friends could take a bit of the pain for you. You are so loved and honored. I often hear one of your former students comment on your greatness. I am touched to read all the wonderful comments about Ian. What a treasure he must have been and he had a treasure of a Mom and Dad as well. It has been a long time since I've seen you or Ian. I occasionally saw Susie at Baptist downtown...

Our relationship all started years ago when I became a regular customer at Chapman highways Disc Exchange. He was an awesome employee, co-worker as well as friend. He always helped me out with whatever i was looking for wanted to listen to needed, or tried to get. We'd chill at the listening parties or when bands came to play in the store. etc. Ian even read my book I wrote titled. Me & My Tourettes Motivated By God he told me he really enjoyed reading it, especially the part where i said I...

Mr. Loope,

Though I have not seen you in years, I still think of my time in Journalism class. You were always so thoughtful and fun. I am so sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers.

Mr. Loope,

My heart breaks for the sorrow of your loss and I will lift you up in prayer so that you may experience His peace and comfort which is beyond all understanding. Praise God your wife and son were believers in Christ Jesus, and in time to come, you will be reunited with them for all ETERNITY in your TRUE home! You were one of my favorite teachers and I so enjoyed my time in your classroom...thank you for your positive impact on those in your world, including your wife...

Ian, when I think of you I think of late nights at Disc Exchange, with you, Chris & Zach jamming out week after week to At The Drive In. So many good nights hangin' at 90.3 on Wednesdays too. I remember Cotton Jones & David Gray & Crystal Antlers. Also giving you rides all over the place because it seemed like I ran into you everywhere. I will always remember you as someone who knew me and really cared, even if you sometimes showed it by giving me a hard time. I'm so glad I was able to spend...

I was Ian's senior year English teacher at Fulton High School, and I still use one of his brilliant essays as an example to my students. He constantly made me laugh and smile. I was only an intern that year, and he and his classmates taught me more than I ever taught him. I ran into him several times in the years since his graduation, and he never failed to make me proud of the person he had become. I am so extremely sorry for your loss. It is truly a loss for us all.

Steve,
It has been many years since we last spoke. I saw Ian's obituary, and then read that your wife had also recently passed, I just could not imagine the sadness and grief you must be feeling at this time. You were a good friend in high school-( you always made me laugh),and a caring teacher for my son. My thoughts are with you, my heart hurts for you.
