Ian Macdonald passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia. The obituary was featured in The Vancouver Sun on February 14, 2012.
Mr. Macdonald was a great neighbour for over 50 years. From the days when the neighbours competed for who had the best garden - he often won, especially with his potatoes - to recent years when he'd knock at the window, offering tomatoes or returning something he'd fixed for us, he was there. He is greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
