We knew of Ian through his son Brian. What a remarkable man he clearly was. Our condolences to the whole family.

Ian's earlier experience in espionage helped our faculty gain better insights into the dynamics and language of international assistance programs. The DATP program expanded and later became the Institute of Public Service International program which Ian then directed

I met Ian, Ellen-Aase & Krishna in Kenya. It was there that I started to recruit/entice Ian to join our faculty at UCONN.

It was an honor for my wife Gail and I to know this amazing man and his gracious and giving wife Krishna. Our friendship with son Steven goes way back. Our condolences to them and his extensive family.

Hi Steve, sorry for the loss of your Dad. It sounded as if he add an interesting (and long) life. I hope you were able to say your farewells with him. A blast from your past and fond memories on the pitch and in your apartment with darts and beers.
