(and family), I am a friend of your brother, Mark, and I want to offer
you my deepest sympathy. I also lost a son in a similar way, and I know
your pain is beyond describing. I am keeping you and your family in my
thoughts and prayers. Should you want, someday, to talk to another mom
who understands the depths of your loss, please feel free to contact
me. Again, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful, beloved
son.

Christa and Mike: the memorial service was so beautiful, I especially loved hearing Ian's poems read! He was a much loved, sensitive, incredibly creative boy. We are so sorry for your loss. David and Marcellina Kampa

Dear McCormack family,
I am so sad to hear of the loss of one our former Zilker students. During Ian's years at Zilker what I most remember is how he cocked his head and looked down when he smiled. Please accept my sincere sympathy during this most difficult time.
