Not sure what to say?

A couple of months back we were getting worried as you stopped coming in then one day in early June I saw you get off the bus in Grey Lyn on my way to the physio (that was me tooting my horn and yelling out to you) That made my day seeing you knowing you were still here... We always looked forward to having you in dine in for lunch. Starting off with once a week visits then we'd get lucky and see you 2-3 times in one week! Will miss our chats about your bus trips out to Pukekohe and we'll...

I did not know you, but reading all the messages people left, you were indeed a very Loved, and treasured man. Many will miss you now and forever. Those we have Learned from, Leaned on, Laughed with, Loved most, Leave us the best Memories. RIP Lorraine Heaven

Just saw this - he´s been there for most of my working life as a suit on queen street - such a shame RIP

Lovely guy who had a tough road through life. Saw him most days during my 22 years working near "the road" rip

Now and then on a Wednesday I had lunch at the Angus Steak house in Forte Lane and he would be there having lunch. He was such an icon. So sad to read of his passing in the article in the herald today RIP Ian. Julene
