Ian Sklar

Ian David Sklar, on Monday, November 11th 2019, Ian David Sklar, loving husband to Mindy, father of Brandon(11) and Reese(9) passed away at the age of 44. Ian was born on March 14th 1975 in Suffern, NY to Bonnie and Jeffrey Sklar. He was a dear brother to Meredith. Ian was raised in New City, NY and attended Clarkstown South High School. He later received a Bachelor's of Science Degree at the UMass Amherst. Ian, Mindy and their family most recently live Mahwah, NJ. Ian was a valued and loved coach and member of the community. Ian was known and loved for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah. Jeffrey Sklar will be sitting shiva on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 3 - 5 PM at 6 Deauville Drive, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
