i'm sorry to hear about uncle ich. the smell of the deluxe dry cleaners still lingers in my nose and i can still hear rhat steam press. at 98, he had a good run - rip ichiro.

I grew up next door to Ichiro. He and dear Amy treated me like their own child as I was always knocking on their door wanting to come in and visit. They shared meals with me, taught me some Japanese words, and always remembered my birthday with a gift of a doll. They brought their delicious food to us when needed and kept our clothes perfectly cleaned, pressed, and delivered. I will always remember their example of goodness, kindness, and love. Sincere condolences to Takeko and family. My parents and the Hachiya's were in the Laundry business in Salt Lake so knew Ich well. He has led a rich and long life. He always had a great smile to greet you with.
