Ida Mae Ewbank

Although "we" at Streets of New York, only got to know Ida as a regular fixture here at Our Home, we enjoyed the courteous and generous person she was when she came in with her family. We will certainly miss her, and the courageous battle she fought. She left many warm impressions here on our hearts. She treated us better than just her waitress, she treated us with kind and mutal respect we had for her. Our condolences go out to all her family members, in our hearts she will truely be missed.

Dearest Ewbank Family ~ I regret not knowing Ida all that well, however when I did meet her she was such a colorful and vivid person, and so very proud of her new kitchen. Her face beamed with joy when she spoke of all the things still left to do. Her daughter-in-law Ann, and my dearest friend, was very fond of Ida, which obviously meant that she was a good person. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to you and yours.

Ida was one of the most caring, giving people I know. Each year, she led her company, Inverness, LLC, in sponsoring "Brokers for Kids", which raised money for charities benefiting kids. She also was an avid donor to the CREW Foundation, a commercial real estate foundation creating opportunities for women and children in the commercial real estate industry.
Ida touched many lives. She will be sorely missed, and will be smiling on us from her perch in Heaven!

My deepest sympathy to the Ewbank family. I use to work at Community Pharmacy. I had the great pleasure of meeting Ida Mae and Casey. I always loved to hear about the next trip the would be taking. It was great to always see her and Casey as they came through the door. They seemed to be always smiling about something. You could see the great love they had for each other. They always had great stories about their trips. She will be missed by may who came in contact with her.
