Not sure what to say?

Please acccept my deepest sympathy- My Mother in Law Dorothy Millington worked at Montgomery Wards with Ida and spoke of her often.

Dear Fred,
Sorry for your loss. How many years have gone by?
Margaret (Turner) Bradwell

Like a lot of guys and gals who hung out at the old hall on Lyons Avenue I too got to know Mrs. Flietz at a very early age. She was tolerant then of our not always ideal behavior and as we grew up we came to realize she was indeed an extraordinary person in a seemingly ordinary way. There were a lot of “Moms” on Lyons Avenue, each very special, and Mrs. Flietz was one of the best.

Fred & family,,,so sorry for your loss,,,i remember your Mom very much....iI grew up in Menands, right across the street from your house,,,I lived at 15 Lyons Ave,,,my name is Nancy, my sister & your sister were very good friends...Again so sorry for your loss....My Aunt & Uncle The Palmateer's lived next door to you...

Dear Fred and family,

Fred,

Sending you my prayers, peace, and congratulations for having such a special mother.

It's been so many years since I have seen you, but I remember our good times and memories over the years.

Your mother was obviously a very special woman. (I did not know about the peacocks, but I loved the reference.)

Be in touch when you can and keep the faith.

My best and prayers to you and all your family.

My condolences to my friend Fred and his family. I knew Ida through Fred and her attendance at the Bethany Presbyterian Church when I was young. God Bless

Aunt Mary Grace, Jimmy and Family,
As you know through all our conversations Gram was the best. I have so many childhood memories of all our families being together. I'm so very glad we have stayed together through it all. Please know all our love and prayers are with and that Gram had a great life.
Love Petie and all her family (Peacocks Too,)!!!!

Dear Fred and Family,

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the death of your mother. I know you will miss her very much. Remember all the love and joy she gave you in her 99 years.

With our sympathy,

Jack and Marie Stangle

It was my honor and pleasure to know "Gram," and to share in the joy that life always held for her. I have rarely met someone so vibrant, cheerful and pleasant to be with who laughed in the face if age as she laughed at so much else. My friend has lost a grandmother, my godson a great grandmother, but we have all lost an inspiration. She will be missed.
