What a wonderful legacy to have Elaine Garzarelli as a daughter. I know she was very proud of all the Garzarellis' accomplished. She left the world a better place than when she arrived. What a long great life. It does not get any better than the way she lived.

I had the very honor to met you in my trip to New York in 2004. As I told your lovely daughter Elaine, meeting you was the highest point of my 33 day trip! Your special glow and presence will remain in my heart forever. Thank you!

ALTHOUGH I NEVER DID MEET YOUR MOTHER, I KNOW HOW CLOSE YOU BOTH WERE. I ALSO KNOW HOW DEVOTED YOU WERE TO HER, ESPECIALLY IN HER LAST YEARS. I AM CERTAIN THAT SHE WAS SO VERY PROUD OF YOU & ALL YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS. JUST AS I AM CERTAIN A GREAT DEAL OF HER CHARACTER & INTELLECT IS A PART OF YOU.

When Ida spoke, I leaned back in my chair, sat with my hands perched on top of my head, opening myself to her.
I did that because he was, first of all and quite obviously, a brilliant woman. And so it was a pleasure for me to just lean back and bask in the warmth of that brilliance. She was not only an intelligent woman, she was as well, a woman who cherished intelligence and education, and who set before her children the goal of academic achievement and intellectual...
