One afternoon during the summer of 2007 we spent a few hours together reflecting on shared memories, acknowledging the imperfection of life, and enjoying our shared connection. I am grateful that our last meeting was filled with kindness and love, and have often wondered how her journey went. It is good to know.

Skip was such a big part of many people's lives here in Jonesport. From the time I met her at R.H.Rogers store, where she always had time to visit with us "young girls", to the time she worked in the town office and would call to remind me that my registration was due she never changed. So many fond memories.
