IDA MAE HOOKS

I remember when I was young and Ms. Ida would come to visit from Chicago. Her neices next door to me would talk about her as though she was a real socialite and someone that was super special to them. I could see this in their eyes. I knew I had to see this person they spoke so highly of and one day I went to Wanda's house and I finally got a peek. A fine woman indeed. What a special and exciting time for me. She's resting peacefully now and I'm happy for her.

My deepest, regards go out to Wonda. I met Ms. Hooks a year ago, she bless my life with words of wisdom, a great additude,and praise and her lips.
