Malea, I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have always thought very highly of her. It is with great regret that I could not attend the funeral today. God Bless you and your family in this time of loss.

There are no words to say with the loss of Aunt Ida May... I loved her more than anyone will ever know. I never knew her to say an unkind word to anyone or about anyone... She loved her family , her extended family and her friends.. She worked harder than anyone I have ever known in my life.. She will be missed...

Johnny Dee, Paul and Linda Gail, I was sorry to hear about your mother's death. I remember Miss Ida Mae fondly. She was devoted to her family, worked like a Trojan, and didn't take anything off of any one. I remember her creativeness in making clothes for Linda. I am sorry that I did not take the time to go and see her in these later years. My trips to North Alabama are fewer and fewer, but that is no excuse. You and all of the family have my condolencs.
