Not sure what to say?

IDA WAS THE NICEST PERSON EVER, ALWAYS FRIENDLY TO ME & MY MOM, WHO WAS A SHY PERSON. WHEN I GREW OLDER MY MOM WOULD SEND ME TO IDA'S STORE TO BUY RICE OR BEANS. MISS HER & MY MOM TOO.

Dear Hyman Lee,

My deepest smpathy to all. The passing of your mother Ida was a tremendous loss to everone who knew her. I met her at Santa Clarita Senor Center. We often communicated by e-mails and phone calls after I moved away three years ago. I loved her dearly. Kay Coleman [email protected]

Rest in peace, Aunty Ida ... aka the Cookie Lady.

I lived down the hall from Ida at Valley Oaks Village and the best part of the day was when I would bump into Ida, either walking on the complex or in the hallway. She always looked meticulous and she always looked delighted to see me. One time when I had put a small bowl outside my front door, she told me that it was called a "rice" bowl and actually had pieces of rice in the porcelain. I will miss her so much. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I worked with Ida at Robinsons-May and was always impressed by her graciousness. She set an example of perseverence that will be hard to beat. I'll miss sharing new years greetings with you, Ida...say hello to Hazel!

Dear Hyman Lee & Family,
Our hearts are sadden on the loss of your mother, she was a very kind & giving person. Mom & I remember her fondly from days of Johhny's Market & Galloway's Drugstore. As we were recalling the old days, Ida gave Mom some suggestions when cooking with pork. Your parents were good to everyone in the old neighborhood and oh how very proud they were of you. With our deepest sympathy our prayers are with you & your family.

I well remember this lovely lady from when my mother was a client in day care at the Senior Center. Ida's was a life well lived, rest in peace...
