Ida Bell Moses was born May 01, 1934, in Chester, South Carolina, and
was called home on Sunday July 15,2018. She was the daughter of the late
Mikal Chisholm & Mary Etta Davis Chisholm. As a child Ida attended
school in Leeds, until high school where she attended Finley High School
in Chester, South Carolina. She lived in Greensboro, North Carolina. She
later moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she resided for 60 years and
worked in various occupations.


Ida professed her life to Christ and was a faithful member of several
congregations, including Wayside Baptist Church, Friendship Baptist
Church and Redeem Tabernacle Church. Ida loved working in the church,
as a member of the Usher and hospitality auxiliaries. She had a passion for
studying the word and daily prayer. She enjoyed talking on the phone and
spending quality time with her family and friends. Ida Bell had a spirit of
excellence in everything she did. Besides working for the Lord, she retired
as a domestic several years ago, but continued her relationship with her
employers the Bryant Family.


She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Moses, several siblings
and eldest son Darryl J. Clinton. Ida leaves to cherish three children
Valerie Harris-Ball (AZ) John & Sandra Harris, Ida M. Harris (MD); her
brother George Chisholm (TX), two Sister-in-Laws Ruby Chisholm (SC)
and Philema Chisholm (P A), Grand children Elisa & Tyrice Gary,
Chrishinda & Eric Jackson, Chrissean, Christian & Christona Harris and
Markese Barnett. Ten Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and other relatives and friends.
