Ida Mae Thomas-McGee

TO Ida's Family,

Ida was a good friend. She and I graduated from East High together. She was also a good friend to my mom Lucille. Ida will be dearly missed. Her sons and my brother Kevin were also friends. He asked that we let the family know that our prayers are with you.

To the family of Ida: I worked at Head Start when Ida worked at John XIII and I know she was a dedicated leader there. Cherish your memories and know that she touched hundreds of children and their parents!

What a great and good life she lived. She was a great cousin and I loved to talk and share with her. I miss my cousin already. However, something tells me she is in good hands and with great company.

Ida was an original. Her spirit and wisdom and special brand of "moxy" will be missed. Sandra Porter

My prayers are with your family. You were like a mother to me and a grandmother to my daughter Courtney we both LOVE YOU VERY MUCH we will miss you so much. But we know you will be looking over us each and everyday. When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel and flies up to tell God to put another flower on the pillow.

To the family of Ida: My prayers are with you in the lost of your love one. I knew Ida for many years working in Head Start. She was a special person always with a smile and a fun personality. She will be missed.

Ms. McGee bless you and I will always remember that you was the one that encouraged me to come on at John XXIII. Thank you for that.
