Not sure what to say?

Oh my dear lovely and beautiful grandmother how I miss you so. Life just isn't the same without you, even though sometimes I know your close. There are no words for me to write what's in my heart, the memories I hold dear and for how much you loved me and your first great grandchild. The feeling was and is mutual...I love looking at our pictures....you know we were going to look at yours too....yes! If there's a God in heaven then you and I will reunite and carry on as if no time had...

You know, you hear about death in other families, or see it in TV shows, but when it takes someone in your family, it's a little more of a shock.

Marie Walker was my great-grandmother. She loved us all so very much. She was always there for us. She would take me shopping with my mother, and she got me my first real Bible, which she also signed. I still have that Bible and read from it every night and every morning.

Great-grandma used to get a bunch of the family together for...

My dear mother ~ how the years flew by! It was on a winter sunrise you came into the world, a gift to us from God. All your life you gave, you loved, and you went the extra mile for us all. The memories of our times together over the season's of your earthly journey tug at my heart as I reflect back to those times along the ocean beach walking in the sand; exploring natures beauty in mountain meadows; or just going to shop at the 'M & M'. The flowers on your table reflected your beauty, and...

Wow, this took me by surprise. Just glancing at the tribnet page and so surprised to see that Marie has passed away.

So many memories as a child visiting my Grandma Bessie's family up North. We didn't see much of each other, but I remember her as such a soft spoken, lovely lady. Very classy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you today Walker Family. I wish that i could be there tomorrow to pay my respects.

Hugs

Marie was my grandmother. It's so difficult to imagine life without her. She was always there - every birthday, graduation, wedding, births, and in between special occasions there were dinners, shopping trips and lunch, and times we got together just to talk.

She was my mentor, my biggest supporter of everything I did, and my number one fan.

Even after she had to move out of her house into assisted living, and even as her condition deteriorated, she was there with a warm...

Ida Marie Walker was my great grandmother. I went and visited her from the age of 5 with my mother, sister, and sometimes my dad and
brother. Sometimes it would get very, very boring... I didn't complain a whole lot most of the time, though.
Other visits, we'd laugh and have such a good time... I'm going to miss those visits very, very much.
