Not sure what to say?

I worked with Ida in several different capacities over the years from 1985 until she passed. She always expected nothing but the best from her students and was always so proud of their accomplishments. I learned so many valuable things from her that went into my teaching. I miss her every day and her voice is always in my head.

I think of Ida so much when I watch a musical or a play and can hear her voice in my head. It was such a privilege to be able to work with her at Plano Senior High and then have he work with me in my voice studio. I learned so much from her about the acting part of singing. I miss her all the time but my students have benefited over the years working with her in person and then with me for the things she taught me. I am sure you and Howard are relaxing and enjoying being together again.

Miss Ida was an amazing Theater teacher and mentor. As a cast member in PSHS class of 1991, Ida pushed me to be all I could be and never stopped believing in me. I am so saddened to hear of her parting.

Thank Miss Ida for believing in me. You made an impact on who I am today. Thank you. Jo Trizila

Miss Ida was my mentor, colleague and friend. She made an profound impact on me and my career. Her stern words of wisdom and the impact on so many students lives will be felt for many years to come. I will miss my friend. There's magic in the theatre, the theatre is magic, and truly blessed are those who are able to share their talents with others. Thank you, Miss Ida, for sharing your talents.

A wonderful woman, mother and grandmother. We were honored to know her and will always remember her dearly. Beth you were so blessed to have such a great mom!

Miss Ida was an incredible teacher, I think of the things I learned from her daily. You will be missed.

Ida was my very dear friend and my mentor as well. She worked diligently with my students to help them connect with their music. She took great pride in the work that she did. She loved seeing the light come on in a students eyes when she was working with them. I will miss her unselfish gift that she gave me and all the students that she touched. I learned from her right along with all the students. Rest Easy Ida.

"Miss Ida" was not only my high school theatre teacher... she was my friend and my PEO sister, too. She was a loving, nurturing, compassionate woman with a heart of pure gold. She was a treasure to all who knew her and whose lives she touched. I am grateful to have had her in my life.
