Idalia Cristina Hernandez-Rice

Idalia Cristina Hernandez was born March 14, 1979 in El Salvador to Maria Margarita Hernandez and Mario Alfredo Flores. Idalia moved to San Francisco at the Age of six with her mother Margarita, stepfather Raul Rivas, sister Claudia, brother Carlos, and grandmother mama Chenta. Idalia grew up in a loving close family with her many cousins, uncles and aunts. In 1995 Idalia had a son DeAndre, affectionately known as D.J.D.J. became and always was the love of her life. Idalia from a young age worked two jobs day and night to support her son and managed to still go to school, graduating High School and attending college. In 1998 she met Brian, fell in love, and they married in 2004. Idalias greatest love was watching D.J. play baseball, Idalia attended every game and even coached during practices. Idalia was a loving Tia (Aunt) to her young nieces Nina and Leslie. Idalia primary concern was taking care of her Mom and her family. She worked for Peets Coffee for over 10 years and was well known by customer's for making their day better with her beautiful smile and cute laugh.
