On March 1, 1998 I retired from the Dayton Police Department after 30 years. Shortly after retirement I received a personal letter from Ms. Neal thanking me for my service. I was very touched by the letter because I never had the opportunity to meet her. I think her actions speak highly as to her character. She will be missed. May God bless Bootsie Neal.
