Igor Sazevich

Igor was like a big brother to me in my youth, an idol of sorts, I loved the man, his parents were like grandparents to me and my family. Just now realizing he has past brings sorrow and memories...Paint the heavens Igor !

Igor was a close friend of my Grandfather and designed both the Library at his home and the unique "roundhouse" cabin in the wilderness named "The Wickiup", both in the mid-60's. in 2019, Igor celebrated his 90th birthday at the Wickiup, recounting with great theatricality how he thought he was going to die 55 years ago from my grandfathers off-road driving to explore the building site.

Our acquaintance and friendship stretches back many years. Thank you for a life well lived, and being as interested in me, as I was in you. Your gifts will live on for all time. You will be missed by many. - Jim Sazevich, St. Paul, Minnesota.

I never knew much about him, but reading about him here, he must have been a wonderful and fascinating person. I wish I had known him. My heart goes out to you at your loss.
