Not sure what to say?

Although I was not a close friend to Ike, my brother Bob Evans, mentioned him kindly so often over the years, I felt like I was. Ike was a wonderful friend to him, and will be missed greatly. My prayers are with all that loved him.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My mother,Mickey Stuart, just called me about it. Your family will be in my prayers.

Thinking of you and reminiscing about happy childhood times.

So sad to hear of Ike's passing. Praying thar God wraps his arms around you and comforts you. I remember growing up and seeing Ike when he and Aunt Hazel would visit. My mother (Catherine) loved her little blond-headed nephew! Rest in peace dear cousin.

There was no one like Ike, he was special! He was a favorite cousin from my dad James's side of the family. I only got to see Ike one in awhile through the years, but he was always the same. He always picked at me as I did him. He always smiled with his funny little grin.. I absolutely loved my time with Ike! He could make you laugh where no one else could. I will miss knowing that Ike isn't still here... But, he has deserved his wings, and knowing Ike as I do, he'll probably ask for...

As we travel down the road-of-life there are precious times, places, and memories that we cherish in our journey through this world. Times of trials and joys, of companionship to share in so many different ways with the sparkling diamonds that bless our lives. Such was Ike Zimmerman, a man among men, and a comforter to the needy. Regardless of the need, it seemed Ike always had the comfort and the solution to quench the flames of any fire bringing discomfort to his friends. I am truly...

I looked forward to doing footing inspections for Ike. He always had a smile on his face and we spent so much time talking it made me run behind in my schedule. But I never minded because I enjoyed every minute I spent with him. I will miss him. My condolences go out to his family. May God bless you and keep you during this difficult time.
