Not sure what to say?

I knew her as Ila Mae and dated her daughter Ila Ruth 30 years ago. My deepest condolences to Ila, Laura, and Doug.

What a wonderful and cool person. Ila Mae treated me like her son and was so kind hearted. I am kind of stunned today because I have thought of Ila Ruth many times and to see that her mother passed literally days ago is wrenching my heart. Mom as I called her was so nice and I visited her home in both Rock Hill and when she moved to Charleston.

I will miss...

I will remember the smiling Ila when we worked together in Summerville, she was such a gracious lady.

Ila was a great lady. As the librarian at Macedonia Middle School, she provided a safe place for teachers who needed a listening ear. Our Happy Hour Club was formed during this time and held strong until her death . I will miss you Ila.

Ila will always remain close to my heart. She was such a good friend to me and helped me through some bad times when I first moved to Summerville. She was always there for me. Ila was wonderful, kind, and fun to be around. She will be missed by many!

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one may God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time Ps 46 :1

Sorry for your loss. May the GOD of all comfort be with the family at this time sadness.

Ila was a true lady. Enjoyed sharing time with her on many Tesday meetings of the "Liar's Club". From our conversations, I could tell she cared deeply for her friends and wanted to help everyone enjoy reading and life. Carolyn Daniels
