Dear Trudy and family,
How wonderful it would have been to be a part of this family when Ila was well. Taking care of her was a privelege and an honor. She was the most honest, open person I have ever met, and never shied away from telling me exactly what she thought! I loved her as a surrogate grandmother, and a friend, and I will miss our conversations together. Trudy, you took the best care of her any daughter could, and she was always proud of you.
