Not sure what to say?

I took her Gestalt therapy class at NYU in 1973. She handled a class of 30-plus students as if it was a small, intimate therapy class. A wonderful, healing class.

I met Ilana in 1970, when she was still married to Frank. They ran a Gestalt therapy group out of Frank's Washington Square office. She was just starting to integrate Gestalt therapy and bodywork. Wonderful, what a legacy she left.

Ilana was a meastro of touch and healing!

I count myself one of the lucky ones for having known Ilana and experienced her brilliant training. Not only did I help many people with the work, but it improved my life 100% for the better. Ilana, your care for humanity was exceptional and you are missed. I'm so thankful you left such a important gift as your legacy.

My dear friend Ilana - my best friend from the age of 13. I miss you, and I always will. Thank you for your friendship. Rest in peace.

Ilana was my first teacher/ therapist/ mentor in touch and body psychotherapy. I will carry all that she taught me about listening hands till the day that I leave planet earth. She was " one of a kind! ". In my heart forever.

Ilana, I am so grateful for the work you developed and nurtured for those of us lucky enough to have found you. Learning the work was the best thing I've ever done for myself and I'm forever changed 100% for the better. We will miss you.

I was a friend of Ilana's and had the pleasure of leading a ritual of community in NY for her 60th birthday. She was very gifted in the most special of ways-her voice, her touch, her healing words. She will be missed!

I read Ilana´s obituary and was drawn to know her better. I have bought her book. It is timely as I am walking through advanced stage ovarian cancer with my daughter in law. I hope I can offer her some healing techniques. Ilana continues to inspire healing through her works. I´m very grateful.
