Ilene shared her joy of life with everyone she met. She befriended me, a few yrs ago, when I was new to Md. She brought me into her circle of friends, in Fl. , as well. She was a beautiful, kind and authentic lady. My heart goes out to Allen and his family.

Allen, I am so very sorry to hear about Ilene´s passing. I had talked with her while she was in Hopkins and was very encouraged when she explained the treatment she was going to receive. I am just so very shocked by this news. Please know you, Marc and Stephanie are in my prayers. Ilene will be missed by all of us mah Jongg players in ocean city. May she rest in peace. Love, Ann

I met Ilene and Alan after their honeymoon and they were my neighbors across the hall at their new apartment at the Americana Finnmark back in1975. Sorry for the family's loss.
