1922 - 2003
Mrs. Illfay Oneda Frachiseur, age 80, a resident of Grannis, died Monday, June 2, 2003 in the Christus St. Michael Healthcare Center in Texarkana.
She was born August 6, 1922 in Antimony City, Arkansas to Carter Coffey and Goldie Almond. She was a homemaker and a member of the Almond Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Frachiseur was preceded in death by a son: James Olton Frachiseur.
She is survived by her husband: James Oscar Frachiseur; one daughter: Oneda Fain and one son: Edwin Frachiseur, all of Grannis; one brother: Burley Coffey of Texarkana, Arkansas; three sisters: Dorothy Jackson and Ima Pratter, both of Dierks and Melba Smith of De Queen; six grandchildren: Rick Frachiseur, Scott Frachiseur, Charlotte Johnson, John Frachiseur, Monte Fain and Shanon Frachiseur; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Frachiseur will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2003 in the Holly Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Leon McClesky and Rev. Homer Frachiseur officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, at the funeral home.
