I've been thinking a lot about Ilona and her contribution to our neighbourhood. I pass by the house almost every day. I'd love to help plan an I Love Our Neighbourhood Annual BLOCK PARTY. (ILONA Block party for short.)

I'm stunned to hear that a woman so full of life can leave us that quickly. Ilona was a wonderful person in the community and she will be deeply missed. She had friends in every store up and down West Broadway. Yes, she loved to shop but she often seemed to spend in order to show her support for her small business neighbours. Her vibrant energy is a huge loss for all of us.
