Ima Jean Ethington

I am saddened to hear of my dear friend's passing. She was such a special woman. So classy. Loving and generous. One of my fondest memories was many years ago when I was learning to drive (and I do mean maaaannnnny years ago) Jean had a brand new taupe color Chrysler New Yorker and when I jokingly asked her if I could use it to take my driving test she didn't even bat an eye-she just said, "Sure Cookie!" I am so blessed to have known her and I know she is in heaven enjoying everlasting...

"Grandma Jean" was one of the most wonderful women I've ever had the pleasure to know. She basically raised my two children, Kamilah and Jamie, because my husband and I both worked full time. Once, she even kept Kamilah for us when we went to California. She was a generous, loving woman, with an endless capacity for love, and she will be greatly missed. My sympathies to the family, and to all of us who were touched by her.
