Allah lend us a gift but the gift had to return to its rightful owner. Lets all pray for Allah's Peace and MERCY be upon him.And may Allah reward you and the children for bringing him sooo much happieness in this world. Death is a very painful and emotional time, yet one that may be filled with hope and mercy. Muslims believe that death is a departure from the life of this world, but not the end of a person's existence. Rather, eternal life is to come, and we pray for Allah's aza wajal mercy to be with the departed, in hopes that they may find peace and happiness in the life to come.

We have come to know the Shakur family through their children. Imam Shakur always impressed us with his calm and peaceful spirit and his wisdom. May he rest in peace and eternal happiness.

I will miss our conversation in the ODR at the job. Imam was always a pleasure to be around and will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family of Imam Shakur. "Man thinks he knows but God knows better than us all.

To the Shukur banu, may Allah continue to live in your hearts. Imam Khairi was a warm brother, and he will be remembererd best as being such. By the permission of Allah, Khairi kept Islaam alive within the prison systems Mashallah!!
