Imogene Kinslow Hamilton, 88, a resident of Russellville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1921, in Jerusalem, Arkansas to J. J. "Jace" and Mary Frances White Johnston. She was a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and singing. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, T. A. Kinslow and B. A. "Buck" Hamilton; an infant daughter, Janice Kinslow; infant twins; two brothers, Dallas and James Emmett Johnston; and two sisters, Hazel Pierce and Jace Mae Anderson. Survivors include a son, Tommy Kinslow of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Anna Jean and Ray Loyd of London; three step-sons and step-daughters-in-law, Randy Joe and Luanne Hamilton of Russellville, Mike and Nancy Hamilton of Dallas, Texas, and Buddy and Lorraine Hamilton of Texarkana, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2009, at the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Geno Johnston and the Rev. Donald Walker officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery, north of Atkins, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service. Active pallbearers will be Chris Heiser, Mark Shelton, Reggie West, Greg Heiser, Jeff Roberts, and Danny Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Mrs. Hamilton's Sunday school class, Dr. Donald Hill, Larry Hickman, Mike Johnston, Johnny Johnston, and Lynn Anderson. Visitation will be from 3 - 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Mark Hybner, 9393 SR 105 North, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
