Not sure what to say?

Nurse James was always a loving person to be around. When I was at Pembroke when i was sick and didn't won't to go to class. She always asked me what class are you in ? I told her English!!!! come back later. Will miss seeing her smiling face at church also.PHS Class of 1970 RIP Nurse James we love you.

I loved Nurse James and Richard was a friend in high school. I am sorry I could not attend her service but can remember being "sick" with her and laughing when it hurt. She lived a full life and may we all be so blessed to have such wonderful things said about us when we are gone. May the family continue to laugh and share as her wonderful legacy. God Bless.

Nurse James was Pembroke High School. My condolences to the family.

Having you at Pembroke High School was such a blessing. We were so happy when you showed up for the big All Years Pembroke Reunion. You will be greatly missed.

Nurse James was always there when so many of us needed her. So sad to hear of her passing. Carmen Jerningan Fonville PHS Class of 70

Mrs. James made all of Rich's friends of every stripe feel so very welcome at their home. It was a warm place. I have a co-worker here in Miami whose wife attended Pembroke. The one person in all of Hampton we had in common was Mrs. James, a happy coincidence.. My condolences to the James family.

Nurse James was more than a school nurse. She was a huge part of Pembroke High School; a friend, mother and confidant to so many kids who did not get that kind of attention at home. May memories of happier times and the love and support of family and friends bring you comfort. PHS Class of 1978

I remember Nurse James from my time at Pembroke High. She took care of so many of us. Peace be with her family.

Sharon--I was so saddened to see this in the paper just now. I called Pearl to let her know, she had already spoken to you. Thinking about you all at such a tough time.
