Not sure what to say?

I just came across this obituary, and though my offered condolences have been long delayed, please accept them. I was a student at Carlton Palmore Elementary School from 1966 to 1972 with Mrs. Rowley as our principal. She always struck me as a person of imposing authority, stern but fair, and also ready to give encouragement as well as apply needed discipline. I appreciate her filling the office of principal the more as I grow older. Though my acquaintance with her was limited, that plus the...

Mrs. Rowely was the Principle of my Elementry School; Carlton Palmore. I remeber she was always nice but firm and you would see her everywhere from the playground, cafeteria and hallways. My thoughts and prayers to her family and know this great woman helped to create the foundation of my life and I am sure many others.

I am 46 yrs old and every time I drive by Carlton Palmore I think of her. I only went there for 6th grade but Mrs. Rowley made such an impact on me.

As an adult I went back to volunteer. When I walked the halls I remembered how we would have to be three blocks away from the wall and walk in a straight line. The order she created at our school gave us comfort that we were safe, loved and of course always being watched. So we all tried to be on our best behavior. If only...

My first teaching position in Lakeland was with Imogene. She was a great influence on my teaching career.Classy lady who made a difference in public education. Love and Prayers to her family.

I remember Mrs.Rowley from Carlton Palmore. She made a huge impact on my life!

I remember Mrs. Rowley from my days at Carlton Palmore School in the 1960's. I remember her as being a good principal and fair. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Mrs. Rowley was definitely someone who made a positive difference in the lives of others. As a principal, she was very strict, but she was such a sweet lady, a kind person and she loved "her kids." My mother knew her and worked with her for years ~ she was very special to her.
