Imogene H. Walker born on April 6, 1922 in New Market, Alabama, went peacefully to be with the Lord on October 21, 2020 at the age of 98. She is preceded in death her husband, Ray Walker; parents, Clarence Huskey and Mae Fanning Huskey; daughter, Carol W. Rye; son, Randall Walker.


She is survived by her daughter, Susan W. Hunter; grandchildren, Jena Hunter-Roschy and husband, Rob Roschy, Kellye Brewer and husband, Johnny Brewer, Randy Walker and wife, Angie Walker, Donnie Wauford and wife, Kathy Wauford, Greg Wauford and Tanya Wauford Cook and husband Steve Cook.


Imogene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, beloved by family and friends. She shared a Christ-centered marriage of 59 years with Ray Walker, who passed on to heaven in 1999. Her unshakable faith navigated her through life’s joys, trials, and sorrows.


She leaves behind a legacy of a living example of kindness and compassion. A family Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
