Ina Claire Shope, age 84, of Harrisburg, passed away on February 8, 2017. Born on September 12, 1932 she was the daughter of the late John and Winifred Spangler. She is also predeceased by her Great Aunt Claire Unger who raised her. She was a Susquehanna Twp. High School Graduate Class of 1950....

I am thankful for all the fun times Ina Claire, Neil, my mom (Beverly) and my dad (Ray) had at the "Club" for Friday lunches. Mom and dad said all they did was laugh for 2 hours. Friendships like theirs are what life's memories are all about. I know mom and Ina Claire are laughing and having a drink up in heaven right now. Love to all your family.

I'll never forget the first time I met Ina Claire. She told me right away, "I'm Grammy" and welcomed me into her home like we had known each other for years. Her home immediately felt like a safe place with warm memories-clearly a tribute to her and the family she adored. I'm so happy for that day and the happy memories we were able to share.
