I was so surprised to hear that my friend, "Ineka" had passed away; I place emphasis on how her name was to be pronounced because she would make sure it was pronounced correctly; the last time I saw her was at Phillips CME church, I waited for the service to end to hug her and see how she had been doing, she was as upbeat as ever. I loved taking care of her at MVH she was like family, I just plain cared about her. God Bless her mom, I pray for your strength. Stacy RN

Bounthanh Phommasathit and the staff of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health sends their condolences. Ineka testified on the behalf of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health at the State Senate on February 22, 2005. She was well respected by members of the Commission and the State Representatives who were on Budget Committee the day that Ineka testified. So much so that Representative Dixie Allen attended Ineka's funeral. Ineka has blessed many people suffering with Lupus across the State...

It is with great sadness that I sign this guestbook for Ineka. When someone so young leaves us we are forced to ask why , but in times like this we must be reminded that it doesn't take long to fullfill gods purpose for our life and that he is always in control. She leaves a lot of memories with her natural family and her bantu family. I send sympothy on behalf of the Central State University Upward Bound Program. I do hope these words express how deeply saddened we are by your loss.

Val, Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your angel. She is in His hands now; God's hands.
Love,
Yvette (Marilu's friend)
