Iner Shields

Iner (Bunt) Shields, 80, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, December 16, 2010, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Roger Pounders and Bro. James Garrett. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tommy Stiles, Anthony Gardner, A.J. Shields, Tillman Brown, Kendrick Linton, Gary Hubbard, and John Pierce. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Barrett (Gene), Teresa Stanford (Johnny), and Gaylon Cummings (Dennis), all of Iuka; one son, A.J. Shields of Iuka; four grandchildren, Samantha Blair, Patricia Garrett, Casey Stanford, and Darena Shefrin; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Shields; her parents, James and Ina Linton Jones; a son, Brandon Shields; and a granddaughter, Geanie Huffman.
