Ines Betti, 94 of Pt. Pleasant passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center.  She was born in Jersey City and lived in Union City.  She worked on Wall Street after graduating Emerson High School.  She was a seasonal resident of Point Pleasant since 1945 before moving here in 1972 with her husband to own and operate Frank’s Amusements in Point Pleasant Beach.  She served as president of Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce.  Ines was a communicant at St. Martha’s RC Church, Pt. Pleasant. 


She was predeceased by her husband Edward Betti in 1974; her parents Joseph and Margaret Soracco;


sister Diane Bertolotti and husband Joseph; sister Gloria Notarnicola and great niece Meghan Cooke.


Surviving are her children Linda Troy and husband Patrick; Brenda Berger, Lisa Betti, and Steven Betti and wife Paula; grandchildren Kyle Berger and Britannie Betti; great grandchildren Elle and Alexa Berger; brother-in-law Robert Notarnicola; sister Laura Nicholson and husband John; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be Monday 3-7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy.88, Brick.  A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at St. Martha’s RC Church, Pt Pleasant, NJ.  Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Wall Twp.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital at lovetotherescue.org or to Fisher House at Fisherhouse.org.
