Ineta Ann Roe

Ineta Ann Roe, 75, of Wichita Falls passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating.  Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery.

Ineta was born on November 10, 1948 in Comanche, Oklahoma to the late Claude Everett and Hazel (Parnell) Montgomery.  She married Gilbert "GC" Roe on May 4, 1968 and the couple were married for 35 years until his passing in 2004.  Ineta worked for twenty-five years in the jewelry department at the Sheppard AFB Exchange.  She also worked for the S & H Green Stamp Store, and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, making hand-made cards, and shopping.  She especially loved jewelry and clothes, but could be persuaded to purchase anything from HSN and QVC.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Joyce Barbe of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Ineta is survived by her children, Kevin Roe and wife, Theresa, of Oklahoma City, and Kristi Roe and wife, Stephanie Abshire of Wichita Falls; grandchildren: Jeremy Roe of Lubbock, Ashley Roe of Burkburnett, and Olivia Abshire of Wichita Falls; great-grandchildren Hevean, Madi, Greyson, and Sophia; and brother Danny Ray Montgomery and wife, Linda, from Bridgeport.
