Inez "Pearl" Burton

BURTON, Inez "Pearl" - Of Williams Bay, Wisconsin, formerly of Burton, age 91, died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Williams Bay Care Center in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Funeral service will be held 12noon Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Alan Sikes officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Visitation 4-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Inez was born in Mt. Pleasant, Missouri on September 9, 1915, the daughter of Amelia and Ross Baker. She married Lloyd Burton on May 25, 1931. They lived in Portageville, Missouri until 1952, moving then to Burton, Michigan. Shortly after the death of her husband in 1990, she moved to Plainwell, Michigan. Mrs. Burton had resided in Williams Bay Nursing Home in Williams Bay, Wisconsin since September, 2006. Surviving are daughters, Mary and husband John Glasstetter of Grand Blanc, Pat Pearce of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Sharon and husband Jerry Fredenburgh of Spring Grove, Illinois; son, Ron and wife Vicky Burton of Mayville, Michigan; one sister, Arlie Collins of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd Burton; infant daughter, Dorothy; 2 sons, Wayne and Bob Burton; 2 grandsons, Timothy Pearce and Phillip Burton; granddaughter, Mary Burton; son-in-law, Charles Pearce; daughter-in-law, Frieda Burton; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
