Inez Morgan "Nez" Calhoun

Oh, my friend Nez, you left and I didn't know, didn't have a chance for one more lunch, one more opportunity to learn something new.

You were a good friend, a sounding board, a wealth of information, ideas, laughter and positive thoughts.

How I will miss our phone chats, lunches and analyses of whatever ailed this old world, not to mention the solutions.

This world is a sadder, duller, poorer place without you, Nez. You left us too soon and I miss you!

I cannot describe the feeling I had when I read of our dear Nez's passing in al.com. I was shocked! She was such a lovely, bright, and loyal friend. I feel my words will fall short of describing what a wonderful person she was and how much she meant to me, but I feel I must share what is on my heart. She was a true friend and I will miss her very much.

I remember her telling me that her mother used to ask her everyday when she came home from school to paint her a "word...

I had the pleasure of interviewing Nez last year, and she is on our podcast. Any time you want to hear her voice, we will have it available! I’m honored that I got to meet her and hear some of her stories.

Nez was just the most enjoyable person to be around, and so very good at her job. For all the years I knew her and worked with her for various reasons, they won’t be enough. I will miss her so very much.
