Not sure what to say?

My name is Barbara (Moore) Bonanno and I lived in Lake Hiawatha from 1959 thru 1967 and took ballet lessons from your Mom in the early 1960´s. I remember her being such a wonderful woman and teacher. All of her students wanted to be just like her.

Aunt Ingrid was always an inspiration to me, at the age of twelve I received a somewhat odd Christmas present from Ingrid, a small electric alarm clock, this was around 1970, surprisingly this would change my world and independence, paving the way to adulthood and self responsibility, I remember adding a small light and outlet to automatically turn on my small AM radio to wake up with, I thought of my aunt often in the morning for year's as I woke and prepared for the days to come. Thank...

Message to Ingrid from Pavlo Beznosiuk, violinist.
Dearest Ingrid, I will always remember your kindness and warm welcome in providing me with a space to practise before violin lessons uptown after commuting on the bus from Connecticut. The wonderful light at 252W30th was matched by your interest, creativity and positivity in everything that everyone was doing. Here's looking at you in artist's garb, with the odd fleck of paint.....

Lisa Beznosiuk (flute) and Richard Tunnicliffe (cello/gamba) are professional musicians based in London who have been close friends and colleagues of Maggie Cole and Richard Macphail since the 1980’s. Our friendship with Ingrid dates from that time.
We have both been fortunate to have played many concerts in New York over the years and always loved our visits to that great city. We feel happy and greatly privileged to have got to know Ingrid Edwards and Bob Cole. Our visits to their...

Dear Valerie, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was as a wonderful woman. I remember the many lovely holiday dinners we had together and her one woman show @ a gallery in NYC in 1992? 1993? and a fabulous reception at her apartment afterwards. Such fun. She will be missed. Thinking of you and sending love to all of you

Ingrid was a formidable contributor to American mid 20th Century culture first through her Broadway and TV show dance performances, and then as a painter.

She was totally steadfast in friendship, and unfailingly hospitable to her many friends in her Manhattan home decorated with an incredible array of paintings, watercolors, and sculptures.

I will always remain thankful to have enjoyed her friendship.

Oh, Valerie. What a long life and well lived! I will never forget how kind and gracious your mother was towards me. She had style and beauty, wit and intelligence. I was glad to know her. May her memory be a blessing. And I will add what we say in the Greek tradition: May her memory be eternal. I am sure it will as she lives in you and your children always. So much love to you, my dear friend.

My name is Mike Schatzberg. I grew up in Lake Hiawatha. My father and your father played cards together. I remember going to your house and meeting your mom. I remember thinking she looked so elegant and just like what I would think a dancer looked like. I was also acquainted with your grandma Rae. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
