Ingrid Elaine Plummer, 57, beloved mother, sister and grandmother, entered rest Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Baker Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1050 E. Humbolt St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at historic Baker Funeral Home. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Elaine was born May 16, 1957, to Howard and Mildred Shields Williams. She was a graduate of Polytechnic High School. She was wrapper/packer for Bell Helicopter for 19 years. A major shopper, she enjoyed cooking and caring for everyone. As matriarch of her family, she was the glue that kept us all together. Survivors: Daughters, Allisha James (Rudy Jr.), Melissa Plummer (Tiffany), Reagan Plummer; son, Bruce Plummer Jr.; sister, Pamela Williams; brothers, James Williams Sr. (Monnette), Paul Williams (Bel), Mark Williams (Jacque); grandchildren, Brechon Plummer, Blake Bryant, Alekzandria James, Rudy James III, and an expected granddaughter; special friends, Verdene Hill, Lori Jackson, Dorothy Matthews and Cynthia Harris; a host of other family members; and many friends.
